Former President Maithripala pays 1 million rupees compensation in Royal Park murder case

Former Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has paid 1 million Sri Lankan rupees in compensation ordered by Sri Lanka’s Supreme Court. The court had ordered the compensation following the annulment of the presidential pardon granted to Jude Shramantha Jayamaha, who was convicted in the Royal Park murder.
