Kusal Mendis explains difficulty of bringing kitbag from Pakistan to Sri Lanka before joining IPL 2025

Kusal Mendis is all set to join Gujarat Titans (GT) as Jos Buttler’s replacement ahead of the (Indian Premier League) playoffs. The England wicketkeeper-batter is scheduled to leave the 10-team tournament on May 26 to join the England squad for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against West Indies.

Mendis reportedly opted out of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and decided to play in the IPL instead. He was previously representing the Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan’s premier T20 tournament.
