SAM powers up NTPC’s USD100m solar investment in Sri Lanka

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAM) advised India’s National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) on a USD100 million deal involving power purchase and implementation agreements for a 50MW solar plant in Sri Lanka, marking a significant step in regional energy co-operation.

Partner Prashant Sirohi led the transaction team, assisted by senior associate Tinnish Sharma and associate Madhvi Vangani. Partners Anoop Rawat and Sagar Dhawan advised on security matters.
