In a shocking development with serious ramifications for former elected top leaders, a former Chief Minister of Sri Lanka’s Eastern Province, Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan, alias Pillayan, has been arrested in connection with the April 2019 serial bomb blasts in the country, which killed nearly 300 people.
